Here's my submission for the April Color Contest

for :iconcolor-me-club: #color-me-club :iconcolor-me-club:.

Alice looks quite mad.

This took quite a while.

1. Printed line art.
2. Painstakingly traced with manga pen and ink.
3. Dipped paper into water, brushed with a large paintbrush leaving inked lines behind.
4. Painted.

:star: Please also favorite the line art [link] :star:

Thanks for :iconmio09: ~Mio09 :iconmio09: for providing this fun line art! It was so detailed I about nearly died. o.o;

I absolutely adore this piece! The detail of the surroundings is absolutely beautiful and epic! :D I love how eager Alice appears to be speaking to the chesire cat. And how he looks so... cheeky! You really got the mood down. It's so colorful too! So much is going on here, and it's all good! :heart:

Thanks!

It's a really painstaking way of getting something waterproofed.

I wish I had access to a laser printer or Epson with durabrite ink.

I could take them to a copyshop, but they've flatly refused anything over 280gsm.
